A year without my Donimo

These are two images I drew as this first year came to a close. They are part of a series I’ve been posting on Instagram (@sarah_leav). I usually include words in my comics but when I made these it felt like I didn’t have any. Ideally I would want these two pages to be read simultaneously. I want to convey the sensation of feeling multiple, often contradictory emotions at the same time. That orange page is full of rage, the blue combines sorrow and acceptance and a tiny bit of joy. I miss you so much, D.
