40 Years of Friendship

We met that first day in Art class, Painting with Mircho Jakobow and were “friends at first sight”. You took me under your wing, introducing me to the natural wonders of the Fraser Valley and Lynn Headwaters Park. I can’t sum up our friendship in a paragraph, it spanned so many years, so many life milestones… but the best part was making art together. We were so close, we even wrote letters to one another in our twenties! I will never forget the one you sent telling me you were thinking of changing your name and “what do you think of Donimo?”… my words falter, I cannot express the loss of you in my life.
